LOME army builder

Postby LonelyKnight » Mon Feb 08, 2010 4:32 pm

I'm not sure how many use the file exactly
Anyway, a while back a couple of members asked me for a specific feature on the file. To which I replied "sorry would need programing to do that and I only use formulas". Turns out I did manage to do it with formulas :P

Can anyone guess what the feature is? (don't "guess" yrch ;) )

Gonna finish it now, and add some simple instructions I guess
Should be ready by tomorrow.

If you have ideas for features you'd like to have on the file share them and I'll try to add them (assuming the requests make sense, not gonna add a random recipes for cakes generator.. then again that's a pretty neat feature)

EDIT: v2.0 is going to be pretty much v1.31 with a new feature. The reason I'm calling 2.0 is because the file has come a long way from v1.0, and with this extra feature I think I can call it v2.0

Looking forward to Version 2.0. I use your file all the time when constructing army lists.

nope, drop lists require programming. Fairly simple one but programming nonetheless

Only to define tables and then then add proper validation...

If not that, then idk.

All you need to do is select data validation, change to 'list' option and then type in what you want the list to show.

really?
that's easier than I thought

still prefer this way of selecting though, but might explore that function to see if I can change it from inserting a 1 to merely clicking

cheers
