Grima Wormtongue

Postby Megatron » Wed Mar 10, 2010 11:40 am

One of my freinds the other week said that he is going to compel grima and make him charge a good model meaning he becomes an evil model meaning he can be killed. this in my opinion is wrong. if this is true it makes grima completley useless.

give feedback to help amend the matter :D

1. Wrong Forum
2. Your friend is correct
3. He can also use Sorcerous Blast against Grima
4. It only makes Grima useless if you're playing against a wizard. So most of the time he's useful.

Mount him on a horse and keep him out of the enemy's spell casting range. Keep in mind that if you have Grima, it means you also have a wizard of your own.

Don't think thats true, doesn't Grima have to strike a blow to be discovered? Moving him into contact with another model achieves nothing.

Indeed, just re-read. With Compel, you get to move the model into base contact, but it is not a charge.

He's an evil model who moves into contact with a good model = definition of charging.

Charging also means he's discovered.

I would argue that bumping into another model zombie-like is not the same as running at somebody waving a bloody great sword.

I would agree with you fluff-wise, but that's not RAW reading of the rules ;)
